  • Lead development of handheld launch system utilizing visible and IR sensor technology.
  • Integrated new visible and IR cameras, GPS, attitude sensors, and laser range finder components into TI DSP/Xilinx FPGA platform.
  • Integrated FPGA based image processing firmware and developed test GUI and network interface.
  • Integrated Zynq-based dual core ARM with image processing firmware for infrared tracker.
  • Development of real-time flight computer test station using Linux host to interface with custom and COTS hardware.

  • Primary responsibilities were porting, integrating and testing waveforms for JTRS software defined radios with the SCA radio framework.
  • Assisting in porting SRW, WNW and MUOS JTRS SCA waveforms to Green Hills Integrity/ARM on HMS radio platform.
  • Designed and developed PowerPC software for a UHF SATCOM modulator running on a Xilinx
  • Developed Linux driver for transceiver board that utilized the Intersil DUCs and DDCs.
  • Designed, coded, integrated and tested SCA-compliant XG waveform for DARPA Phase 2 contract. Integrated various hardware devices and platforms for a critical hardware demonstration.

  • Develop C/C++ software and analysis procedures for testing of the next generation navigation reference system at the Holloman High Speed Test Track (HHSTT).
  • Integrated GNU Scientific Library routines to create a software suite to process HHSTT reference, process navigation system data, analyze and model navigation system errors.

  • Develop embedded C code on the NEC V850 32-bit micro-controller using the CMX RTOS and Green Hills development toolset.
  • Developed drivers for SPI, EEPROM, display, and serial. Developed Windows-based MFC application in C++ to receive, process and display serial data from the V850 target system.
  • Designed, implemented and debugged TI ‘5410 DSP interface to FEC hardware (AHA 4501) to support new architecture and new FEC coding rates and methodology.

Guidance Analyst and Flight Safety Analyst

  • Performed failure mode analysis and developed software tools for launches on the Eastern Range.
  • Performed accuracy evaluations of inertial navigation and GPS systems for tests conducted at the Holloman rocket sled test track.
  • Designed and implemented a laser interferometer survey software for use on the test track.
